Description

MarketViz is searching for an interactive designer/developer/technologist who can operate on small to large projects with little or no outside assistance.

In this unique and demanding role, you will be responsible to work directly with clients, architect a solution, design the interfaces and usability, and develop the project.

This role is for an ultra-experienced samurai that has been around since before we knew what the Internet was.

Here’s what we’ll be looking for:

  • 5-10 years of interactive samurai
  • Proven leadership experience in an agency environment
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to present to clients
  • Solid experience leading information architects on site development, site maps, wire frames, flowcharts and specs
  • Strong sense of how to use and effectively incorporate interactive technologies
  • Expertise in MS Office
  • Exceptional knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
  • Exceptional knowledge of interactive front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, Flash, CSS, DHTML), browser and platform constraints
  • Exceptional understanding of common back-end technologies and platforms
  • Exceptional knowledge of databases and SQL-based development
  • Exceptional experience in Cold Fusion.
  • An understanding of Flex -bonus!
  • Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to "Thumb the Man" (major points)
