Requirements

Our ideal candidate is a collaborator who is comfortable buddying up with the client, design team, and technical team. While you will lead as an IA on some projects, we also need someone who can partner with other Information Architects on more complex implementations to develop the overall user experience. Management responsibilities will include working with client services to determine project objectives, requirements, milestones, delivery timelines and budgets. Here's what we'll be looking for:

  • 3-5 years of interactive architect or interactive producer experience
  • Proven leadership experience in an agency environment
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to present to clients
  • Solid experience leading information architects on site development, site maps, wire frames, flowcharts and specs
  • Strong sense of how to use and effectively incorporate interactive technologies
  • Expertise in MS Office
  • Working knowledge of interactive front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, Flash, CSS, DHTML, Flex), browser and platform constraints
  • Basic understanding of common back-end technologies and platforms
  • Basic knowledge of databases and SQL-based development
  • An understanding of Cold Fusion or Flex -bonus!
  • Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to herd cats (major points)
